IN LOVING MEMORY
John Jacob (Jack) Mowder, son of Helen Maxwell and William Henry Mowder of Trenton, New Jersey, passed away of natural causes at his home in Lakewood, Colorado on Friday morning, September 27, 2019. Jack lived a fulfilling 87 years.
Born July 9, 1932 in Stanhope, New Jersey is predeceased by his brothers Miller Mowder, William Mowder, sister Phyllis Stanabeck and Grandson Scott TJ Foremny. After two years of military service in Texas, Jack graduated from the University Of Colorado School Of Pharmacy Jack worked in pharmacies his entire professional career from Alliance, Nebraska to Denver, Colorado. In 1970, he built West Alameda Medical Plaza in Lakewood, Colorado to service medical patients along with Mowder Pharmacy for over 25 years. Other business ventures included restaurants in Denver and Lakewood, most notably, The Mowder Inn. Jack was the patriarch of Orange Crush fandom and his children carry on his love for the Denver Broncos. He loved all Colorado sports teams and knew details of Colorado sports news in astonishing detail.
Jack Mowder is survived by: Arlene L. Mowder of Lakewood, Colorado, Denise L. Mowder and Juvenal Cortez of Denver, Colorado, Kevin J. Mowder and Lori Mowder of Eagle, Colorado, Kip A. Mowder and Wei-Li Huang of Sunnyvale, California, Kyle L. Mowder of Ft. Pierce, Florida and Joni Janelle (J. J.) Mowder-Tinney and Darryl Tinney of Rochester, New York. Grandchildren: Tony Mowder of Pullman, Washington, Alisha L. Mowder of Alameda, California, Kristi J. Mowder of San Francisco, California, and Jennifer and Gregg Quinlin of Eagle, Colorado. Great-Grandchildren: Kennedy and McKinley Quinlin of Eagle, Colorado.
