Obituary

Obituary for Lorna Mary Young

Lorna was born November 13th, 1937 in St. Joseph, MO. She was the first born of four daughters. Lorna went into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on November 21, 2019 at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest William and Dorothy Mary(Belding) Ezzell; her husband, Robert Ray Young; her son, Phillip Brian Young; and sister, Barbara Jo (Ezzell) Landis.

She leaves four children: Robert Ray Young Jr., Kevin Wayne Young (Erin), Lorraine Kay (Young) Battaglia (Frank), and Stanley Allen Young.

Lorna has fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She has two sisters, Donna Lea Young (Richard) and Debra Sue Ezzell.

Lorna graduated in 1954 from Faucett R-V school, and worked in the administration office at Mo. Methodist Hospital and was a member of the Christian Business Women's Organization.

She and her family moved to Denver, CO in 1979. She retired from Target Stores from Customer Service in the Food Court. She was loving, hard working, and sincere to everyone she knew and will be remembered for her incredible faith, joyous spirit, and servant's heart.

Her viewing will be held on November 29, 2019 at Aspen Mortuaries in Commerce City from 10:30am- 11:00am, followed by her service from 11:00 am- 12:00 PM.
