Obituary for Ronald Lester Albright

Ronald Lester Albright died August 11, 2020 after sustaining critical injuries in an accident.

A native of Colorado, Ron was born September 15, 1947 to James and Betty Albright. He was a teacher in the Denver Public Schools for many years, teaching special education and physical education. Ron was an avid fisherman, hunter, and all-around sportsman. He enjoyed camping and doing anything outdoors. Until his death, he loved living in the mountains with his wife.

Ron is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kathie Albright; his daughter, Jamie Enfield (Doug); and his son, Ryan Albright. He was also the very proud “Papa” of Gavin, Cooper, Lizzie, and Melanie Enfield. In addition, he is survived by his siblings, Jim Albright (Barb), Karen Brown (Ralph), and Jan Davidson (Richard). Ron is predeceased by both parents and a sister, Jackie Webb.

At Ron’s request, no funeral services will be held, though a celebration of his life will take place later.

I miss you so much daddy. Thinking of you as I wrap my Christmas presents this year. You were the most thoughtful gift giver. I will miss your laugh this year during the holidays. I love you, J.K.

Dan & Pat Rosales

We have shared some fun times with Ron & Kathie since the 90's - camping trips, motorcycle rides and a solar eclipse while in Wyoming. Our thoughts are with the Albright family during this difficult time. Sincerely, Pat & Dan Rosales

Very sorry to hear about Ron's accident. My sincere condolences to the Albright family. Ron and I had great times together doing gymnastics in high school and college. Ron was a good natured funny guy and he will be sorely missed.
