Suzanne Norton Jeansonne passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from injuries sustained in a car accident at the age of 53. She was the beloved wife of the late Christopher B. Jeansonne and dedicated mother of Damien C. Jeansonne and the late Branden E. Jeansonne. Suzanne was the daughter of Robert and Mary Norton and sister of Kathryn N. Ose’ (Justan) and Nancy N. Donahue (James). She was the aunt of Robert ‘Bobby’ Ose’, Allison Donahue Collins (Carter); Joseph A. Donahue and Colleen A. Donahue.

Suzanne was born and raised in New Orleans La but then moved to Denver, Colorado with Chris to raise their family. Suzanne was elegant, kind, generous and a dedicated wife and mother. She loved traveling, costume parties and was a true shopaholic. She adored antiques and vintage clothing and was always impeccably dressed. Suzanne was very witty and was usually the first to crack the perfect one-liner. Her soul was gentle and beautiful and she will be sorely missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Aspen Mortuary Services, 1350 Simms St., Lakewood, Co. 80401. A memorial service will be held in New Orleans for her family and friends located there on a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or any organization affiliated with suicide awareness/prevention would be greatly appreciated by the family.

My dear friend Suzanne of 32 years and one of my best friends since our flight attendant days with Continental Airlines. So many, many wonderful memories...roommates together, moms together, vacations together, ups and downs of love and life together. I don’t know what I’ll do without you. I miss you every day

I met Suzanne at EAPL like so many others and she was always upbeat and helpful. I came in often and looked forward to her wit and more important her warm heart and spirit. I will miss her and send my best to her family, she made my days better for knowing her. Love you Suzanne!
